Actually, I ordered mine back in April of '16. They are only 510 lumens, which were his best back then and they cost $90.

I would hate to see how bright the newer 900 lumens bulbs are.

Rock on!

Different company below but have pics of stock relative to upgraded output (bought low beams and fogs from these guys):

thanks, those pics are pretty good comparison.
i guess I should expect to pay $50-60 to good quality led bulbs, which is crazy, but I guess it is worth it!

the diodedynamics is $60 for 310 lumens... 3 year warranty which I really like.
the crystalyx is $45 for 400 lumens, and $55 for 700 lumens ... no mention at all of any warranty, so I assume there is none

i assume these are both quality companies?
this is a dumb question, but what makes a “good” led bulb?
Going to try to research reviews of both brands

What are the ten reasons SPOAT (the original cheapskate by a long shot) is willing to pay $90 (the price back in '16 for quality LED bulbs) to replace two-dollar bulbs?

Number,
10. I have a difficult driveway that I have to back in. I'm a first responder and have to haul **** leaving sometimes, so better to be backed-in.

9. I return home, many times, late at night, tired, sleepy, in the rain and Ms. SPOAT plum forgot to "leave the (side of house) light on for me".

8. I gots tinted windows. I'm about night blind anyway.

7. That dang back-up camera almost really needs these brighter bulbs. It don't work too well with the stock bulbs. But boy do that camera work well now!

6. My $90 dollars was an easy plug and play and I'm not investing in spot lamps hanging off the bumper and don't have to ask Uncle Harry to sober-up and helps me runs some wires to my new bought JCWhittney AirCraft landing lights (remember 1979 LOL).

5. Complain about spending $90 for my lights when I just spent $40,000 for the truck. I mean, really?

4. Back up cameras don't work in the rain. Gotta use the mirrors so you gotta see.

3. Ever been in the woods, at night, in south Georgia? "Uh oh, we dun gone down the wrong trail. We lost. We gotta backs up. Cain't see!"

2. I backed into the side of my house in 1999. It was dark and I was tired. $90 is cheap insurance, really!

And the number one reason SPOAT bought the expensive bulbs..........
1. "Hey SPOAT, that's a nice hole you dun punched in you new truck's bumper and I like that frowny face you put in that new tailgate. Bet you did it hooking up that trailer AGAIN at night in the dark."

No issues with flickering with any of these bulbs, correct? They are a direct swap / plug and play?
