Reverse lights
I have always wired in extra reverse lamps on every truck I have had. I have been looking and thinking about how/what to add on my current truck. Finally found what I think is just right. I wanted them to be very inconspicuous and match the factory LED reverse lights.
I bought 4 rock lights off of Amazon. Currently only have two wired up. They are bolted to the far outside ends of the tow hitch. May eventually add the other two if I can decide where exactly to mount them. I tapped into the tow harness reverse wire for my relay to turn them on when in reverse. I may add a switch, I may not. Turned out really good and you would never know these are present if you weren't looking.
I haven't seen these rock lights used for reverse lights before but they are bright. Not nearly as bright as cubes, which I have in another vehicle, but still bright enough to make a noticeable difference.

Which wire did you tap? I am considering installation of a T-connector to add wiring for a second 7 way plug (removed). All wires except reverse will be capped. Is the center wire for reverse? Did it flag your trailer assist if installed?

Assuming he'll correct me if I'm wrong. I've been going to pull the trigger on these for quite some time but it's hard when you haven't seen them in action. Looks they are just what I hoped they'd be.

I was going to purchase the linked lights in iDrive's post, but I actually went with these:
As stated I tapped into the reverse wire in the larger trailer plug receiver. The cover will tell you what wire is what, but it's the center wire. And no, it does not trigger that a trailer is connected. This is not the source of power to the lights, but the switch source on the relay. Lights are powered straight from the battery with a wire I ran. No extra draw from the reverse wire on the trailer harness.

They had free one day shipping, and I don't like to wait, lol. Probably the same lights.....As stated I tapped into the reverse wire in the larger trailer plug receiver. It's pretty straight forward. Just mark where you want the holes to be drilled , drill them out and install the lights. Then you just need to wire it up.
What specifically would you like to see a close up of, where the lights are mounted?
