Default Reverse aid disabled HELP!

2015 F150 Platinum FX4

I recently added an ANZO "line of fire" LED light bar to my tail gate and plugged it into the trailer hitch 4-prong outlet. The lights work great but they have disabled some things with my reverse aid. I no longer have the guide lines for my wheels, and the other aids that go along when backing up are off. I also have to acknowledge that "there is a trailer attached" every single time I start up the truck (annoying). Since I do not have a trailer attached, how can I get this back on!! Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Yeah. I think your going to have to wire it another way. The truck thinks you have a trailer connected. Maybe tap into the tail lights?

unfortunately from what I've seen there isn't anything out that would trick the computer. So looks like that's the only route. Good luck bud.

Just a quick update to you guys (and whomever else comes to this thread), I finally got this issue fixed by simply wiring the Anzo Line of Fire to my tail light using a converter. The converter was used because it was not long enough to reach the tail light. I had my local shop help me fix this problem, and when they were unable to solve it, they finally called Anzo up and they said they knew about this problem already; it was only an issue with Ford trucks and their trailer hitch programming. They advised us to wire it into the tail light and that would be it!
Thanks for all the help guys!

The converter was a 4-prong to 7-prong and it was longer. I was not present when they wired it completely to the tail light, all I know is that I had to pay for the converter and install ($40).
