Default ResistAll Thoughts

Hey fellas. So long story short my dealer tried to get $200 more out of me as I was signing the papers for my Platinum (negotiations were over the phone).

It was a miscommunication-esque mistake but the sales mgr wouldn't budge. I wasn't about to lose the car over it so when I got an email for a survey afterwards I replied to the General Manager nicely stating how my taste was soured.

Today she apologized for the miscommunication and offered me a free ResistAll detail. From reading up it seems that it offers a free 7yr warranty on both the interior and exterior.

My car is a week old, but they will detail it, apply it, and give me a loaner car. She said retail was $995 (dealer cost is a few hundred less or so I was told) but I know some people have paid less.

Either way it's free and didn't know if anyone here has any experience with it. Thoughts?

Jive pitch....but....it only cost you in reality $200......which is about twice whats it's worth. It's in the same "NO THANKS" category as undercoating....paint protection...fabric protection......AND please read the fine print in your warranty...it may require you to bring your vehicle in at "specified times" for inspections ....or dealer is off the hook for the warranty :\
