Default Body Wrap

Has anyone looked into doing a clear 3M Body wrap on the front of their truck? I was looking at it at the LA Auto Show. The guy wanted $600 to do the leading edge of the hood, headlights, leading edge of the fenders, painted parts of the bumper and behind the door handles. It was a clear thin film which was pretty much unnoticeable unless you looked real close. Looks like good rock chip protection. Kind of expensive but sure looks better than a deflector.

I'm getting Xpel Ultimate on the front, including mirrors, A pillars, 1/4 hood down the fenders, painted bumper and headlights. Cost is $780.00.

I have an older 3M wrap on the front of my MKX and I plan on getting the Xpel wrap on my F150. Only thing I might change is having the hood entirely covered as the border on the partial hood covering is pretty noticeable.

We have this on my wife's 4-Runner. I don't know the brand Toyota used (had the dealer do it), but it's virtually invisible and can only be seen when you really look closely during the day. I think we paid around $600, but it's well worth the money especially if you live in an area prone to a lot rocks and pebbles. Without question I'll get this on my truck when it gets here.

I just checked with the shop that gave me the quote. They use Nano Fusion Film. He said it has a lifetime warranty vs 10 years on the others. Looks good on his truck. Anyone used this?

I get xpel ultimate on all my cars, and already did on my platinum. As a FYI 2015 F150 are not in their template system yet, so the installer will have to hand cut a lof of the pieces.

I did on my Mustang, no rock hits made it to the paint. My only complaint, with any clear bra, is cleaning the edge after waxing to get the build up off the edge and keep it "invisible".
