Default Replacing seats

I have a 2017 f150 crew cab and want to upgrade the seats. I have cloth manual adjustable seats and want leather electric seats. I find plenty of seat covers, but not what I want. Where do I find what I need and what should I be aware of when replacing seats?

junk yard for the seat bases w/ motors and harness. You'll want to look at some of the threads here where people added power seats to their XL/STX and see what kind of wiring you're going to need to do.

From what I was finding the ease of installation will be determined by the base harness. I have an XLT w/ the 302a package so that harness will work w/ anything to be had on an XLT.
If you have a 301 package, my research says thats a different wiring harness. W/ the PCM needing to have inputs from so many parts, many things can be done buts its best to figure out your starting point.

Like it was said, salvage is the best place to start looking for parts, probably 2015-2018 but if you have a chance to look at different trucks in person you may discover a wider range of vehicle.

Good luck, it can be done but be prepared for doing homework. A guy on YT has done several conversions of older SD to have the new KR or Lariat interiors, he even customized the dash harness for the new canbus signal.

Thank you for you advise. I am not sure who or what is the YT guy is or what SD means?

YT = You tube, SD = Super Duty
These are my guesses.

Lkq or car part salvage.

Also check under your dash for the plugs. There should be a plug near the accelerator pedal thats for the adjustable pedal.

Thank you for helping me think this through. The YT (you tube) tutorials were helpful as well. There is going to be some work involved but I think it will be something I will enjoy long term. Thanks again everyone!

how do you feel about the current seats? mine are super uncomfortable but it seems everyone thinks I'm crazy for complaining about them. I'm starting to think i should have bought another Silverado
