Default Replaced steering wheel

Swapped out the crappy steering wheel on my 2017 Lariat with one from a platinum. Took 30 minutes and is my favorite mod so far. The new wheel feels so much better! Ford should be ashamed for putting such a crappy steering wheel in a $62k truck!

The leather wrap is soft leather and fatter in circumference, other than that it looks and functions the same.

I ordered it from Taska, part number for heated wheel no adaptive cruise is HL3Z3600KA. Cost was $265, well worth the money in my opinion.

Looks like the same leather/shape/build of the Raptor wheel I used to replaced my Lariat wheel. Love having the paddle shifters.

I always thought the wheel on the Lariat was decent and thought guys were being cry babies when complaining. After installing this one the difference is startling. Kinda pisses me off how lousy the Lariat wheel really is.

my 15 Platinum has the same garbage steering wheel as my 15 Lariat had, that 17 Platinum wheel looks MUCH better. I need one lol.

its pretty sad, my wifes 2011 Grand Cherokee has a wheel equivalent to that 17 one. And it only had like a 40k sticker.

Looks good. How noticeable is the difference in trim color? Are you going to change all the trim to the brushed? Is real metal or just a look like aluminum?

Yeah, my '15's steering wheel (lariat 502) is terrible-glad to see Ford fixed that.
