I honestly haven't tried yet. Definitely seems like it could be tedious. Lol.

I'd be willing to trade my black set for a chrome set if anyone else is willing.

I really like those. But not quite enough to spend $500.

But not the same. The Ford version has a small line of chrome not the entire thing. More tasteful in my opinion.

I'm assuming we both have daily drivers. So could be tricky, but have been thinking about it.

GBK,

What does it look like when they are removed? Big gaping holes for rain to get inside the door? Basically, if I were to take mine off and swap them, how would it be driving around for a week or so until the other ones come back with no trim installed?

Yeah I don't recommend that, its a pretty thick gap, it's technically a weatherstrip and it's the only part that makes contact with the window to stop water from leaking in; water wouldn't just leak in, it would probably flood your truck with enough rain... so yeah don't do that unless the forecast shows 0% chance of rain and you have a garage to part it, even then, you'll probably get tons of dust in there by the end of the week.

Thanks. Kind of what I figured. I don't think it would fill the truck though. Probably just the inside of the door. It is the outside of the window.

I appreciate your reply.

I have chrome ones on my Platinum with ~3,500 miles on the truck. I'd trade for black. Probably the best time to exchange would be around Christmas, because I won't be driving it for a while. You, or anyone else can PM me if you're interested in a trade.
