Default remote start wont work...

Cant get the truck to start using the remote start feature on my key. It blinks red. When the dealer sold me the car it worked perfectly fine.

Tank is full...
Battery is perfectly charged...
Only thing that is weird about the truck is that after about 15 seconds of being on the Voltage drops from a normal 13.9 to 13.1.

Any ideas?

Yep disconnected it. Sat there for about 20min then reconnected it works now... Strange tho, I wonder what could have caused it and why does the voltage run so low?

You know I wonder about those things to I had to disconnect my battery twice to get sound from my head unit after the stupid update. Its a new truck and I'm sure it's just getting used to running all the crazy electronics they stuff in these things with. I think the voltage runs lower so some of the features still work I'm not sure about that I'm sure someone will correct me on that

I was looking up the alternator info. If i am correct its not a voltage based system; its based on current/amps... whatever that means

Did you go into your Information Display and ensure that the Remote Start System was enabled?
