Remote start question
I just recently changed the setting to last from auto. I did so in hopes to get the seats turned on and defrost with rear kicked in. The problem is I always forget to crank it before I exit. But when I have remembered it seems like the front defrost works from the last setting, but no rear defrost or heated seats. I guess I just use to my Town and Country where it knows if its below 40 to turn on the heated seats and steering wheel for a remote start. I'm thinking I just got spoiled with it.

My lariat is set to Auto for climate, seats and wheel. It's 25 deg outside and when I get in the truck 10 mins after remote start, the fan is barely blowing, the seats are not warm, and the steering wheel is warm. The fan speed seems to be on 2 or 3. I'm going to try the climate at "last setting" I cranked it to 80 deg and fan speed to high, well see what happens when I remote start it again. Auto climate seems to work OK when its slightly cold outside, but if it's in the 20's its not that great. I understand the engine takes some time to warm up, but maybe an electric heater core could help.

I'm disappointed with this.
Good to know it works for you how I think it should work. I will try it back on auto. Perhaps it just wasn't cold enough when I last had it set to auto.
