Actually, I forgot that the codes change depending on how it’s flashed. Does it have an antenna or remotes at all?

Usually you’ll get 3 flashes then some more to indicate what the error is.
No illuminated code. The U0422 code doesn’t request the light. The FLCAN has a t harness that’s in-line between the obd port and has a little valet switch typical of an alarm style system.

To clarify, the code has been present long before the remote start stopped working.

I’ve installed a number of these style units when I was at an audio shop. I’m leaning towards it’s something on the truck side giving me issues or possibly the module itself. Would have to be a heck of a coincidence if that’s the case.

According to the LED diag it’s showing that it’s programmed correctly. Not getting any running light indicators when attempting a remote start.

Stock key fob, no antenna.

Interesting, I don’t remember there being a t harness for stand alone fm8 flcan installs, since they need to hook up to one set of can wires for the first part of programming, then a second set permanently. Almost wonder if the toggle isn’t valet, but instead switches the can sets? And you said you tried relearning, right? By unplugging 4 pin power, holding programming button in while plugging power back in until the led starts flashing red, then turning ignition on and waiting for green light? If you still have access to a weblink flashing tool, I’d try to update the flcan to the newest firmware, but otherwise I’m not sure what else to try.

The only things that should stop it from starting are valet mode, ground on that green/black wire in the black 10 pin plug, an illuminated CEL on the dash, or the hood being open.

Yeah I tried the whole reset and reprogram procedure. It’s possible the switch is for something else. Unfortunately I don’t have the cable for programming them.

Definitely a wonky situation.
