Its a lariat, it was around 28 this morning. I sat in the truck and placed seats on high. Placed last setting option on. Turned truck off then remote started it. No indicator light on heated seat. I just read the thread listed. Seems lariat owners are having the provlem.

The seat heater and wheel heater lights don't come on if using remote start. If the inside of truck is not freezing cold the heaters don't seem to come on either. Not sure what inside temp triggers them to turn on or if after the trucks heater warms up the inside if they turn off.. But to me they never really get the seats warm to were they feel warmed up when first sitting down..

After turning them back on when driving I can feel some heat.

In the advanced settings I believe. There is a option to set it in auto, off, man selection. My platinum warms both the seats and steering wheel when I auto start. 40 deg temps. I'm not sure at what temp it cools but I selected the auto setting.

How long do you let it run?

On my xlt 302a I have it set to auto and run time of 15 minutes. Only a few times has it gotten to the 15 min. point but the seats are always warm when I get in.

My Remote Start run time is 10 minutes on my Lariat and I'm always welcomed with warm seats and steering wheel. Set to Auto.
