Default remote start auto climate issues???

So the weather here is now getting cooler in the morning and I have my remote start set to "auto" which means in hot it should use AC and in cold use heat. Well a few morning its been in the 50's and I go out to the truck and the engine fan is running making me think the AC is running and sure enough you get in the truck and its blowing ice cold air. once the key is turned to run then the ice cold air stops.

On my 2012 when you got the cooler morning the heat was on along with the heated mirrors to cook the dew off the glass so far this 2015 has never done either....

Anybody know what temperatures this system is supposed to do AC VS heat? surely the AC does not need to be running when its in the 50's.

Is there an other ideas on what to look for that may be may be causing this issue??

I believe there is an Auto mode that uses the ambient temperature to determine heating or AC. There is also a last used mode that will use whatever it was set to last. If it is cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon / early evening then you would want it set to auto and not last used.

I know that, that's why I'm using it in auto mode (as stated in post #1) but its not working properly so that's why I'm trying to figure what can be causing the issue. Also FWIW its been at least 2-3 weeks since I have even had the AC turned on so its not like its using " last used" even though its in auto mode.

I'm trying to avoid a dealer trip as that means I will be without my truck, and as history has shown so far they never have any parts in stock so any time my truck has gone in in the past its a 2 trip minimum to fix any issue....

I keep my truck setting in 'last used' but the heated seats, the A/C seats, and heated steering wheel don't come on when the truck is remote started. Are they supposed to and if so, is there something else that I need to set?

I'm having the same issue. No matter what setting I use the AC is always on with the remote start. I work for Ford as a service writer and I can't find any TSB for it just yet. There is, however, a TSB for the AC seat backs not cooling and also one for the hard downshift from 5th to 4th. This remote start issue neds to be resolved fast because winter in Boston is quickly approaching and I didn't spend almost $60k for crap like this to happen. Especially since I work for Ford.
