When I got my 2017 it did not have remote start. So, I had them add it. It's the one button - one way with the second fob.

By default, you start it by pressing and holding the button, and you can shut it back down by pressing the button twice. It came with instructions to reverse it so that you start it with two presses and shutdown with one hold. I figure I'd change it because I was concerned about accidentally pressing the button in my pocket.

Now, i want to change it back, but can not find the instructions anywhere.

Can anyone help me out?

 

1. Open drivers door and enter vehicle, close drivers door.
2.Ensure vehicle in park and brake pedal not depressed.
3. Turn ignition to on position.
4. Press the remote button 3 times within 5 seconds (pausing for 1 second between each press). The horn will honk 1 time, indicating that the remote will now start with a "press and hold".
5. Turn ignition to off to end programming mode.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 to return to factory setting.
* 1 Honk = Press and Hold to start
* 2 Honks = Double Press to start
