Just slightly over payload capacity
Went on a road trip to go mountain biking in Moab, Utah with a bunch of friends. 7 guys, 7 bikes, two trucks, from Vancouver, BC to Moab and back over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I love those 80mph highways in Idaho & Utah!
One day there we decided to shuttle up instead of riding up. We left my buddies Ram at the parking lot at the bottom of Porcupine Rim trail, and placed all seven bikes and seven guys in my F150 to drive to the top of Porcupine Rim.
With all of us loaded in, plus the bikes and the rack, I think I was slightly over capacity...
7 x 200lbs = 1400lbs
7 x40lb bikes = 280lbs
bike rack = 70lbs
total = 1750lbs, not including the cooler of beers, tools, etc.
Truck drove like a dream up the dirt road to the trailhead.
cargo capacity is 1548lbs, before I added the tonneau cover, swingcase, LineX, etc.
Setting up at the trailhead

Didn't take one at the end, we were utterly exhausted and basically forgot. But here we are at the summit, after climbing the 5km trail that was quite steep and gnarly in sections.

Lol, thankfully no. 7 x 200lbs is the average. A couple of us are 250, a couple are 150, rest around 180 - 220.
One guy in the bed with a couple bikes, the skinniest four guys in the back seat, biggest two guys in the front. The four in the back are tall and lanky, so the extra leg room of the SCREW was perfect.

This thread has me thinking about an F-250...I want the fully loaded crew cab and 6.5' bed...and a payload of 1,500 is eaten up real quick by two dirt bikes, camping gear, and 2-3 passengers. :-/ I'd be right at max payload. Even with three people and a small toy hauler, the truck is maxed out.
