Ford Pass is free but I think Ford Pass Connect is a paid subscription-- which allows you to connect to your vehicle. I could be wrong but that is my understanding

There is a module that must be installed in the truck. That module also has a cellular interface. That cellular interface has a SIM card and is linked to your VIN. The dealer has to set up the unit for you. Once it is setup you can use the app to interface with your truck. The cellular charge is $4 per month - paid a year at a time. I haven't had the price go up on mine yet.

so if you say it’s a paid subscription how come I don’t get a bill for my wife’s fusion that must have it because I can start her car from my FordPass app?
