I started getting this pop-up message last week. It shows up almost every time I start my ‘20 KR and reduces the number of preset radio stations I have down to 2 (from 5). No matter how I respond, it keeps showing up. Any idea how to make it never come back (and stopping messing with my radio preset page count)?

For those wondering, I haven’t changed any of my settings in quite a while. I keep automatic updates turned on and the system tells me there are no available software updates.

Signed up just to post this same question on a '19 Lariat. Mine started with the last Sync update.

 

It's also deleting my navigation history. Incredibly annoying/frustrating

 

I was just about to come here and ask if my APIM (?) was on the fritz.

-I get those messages.
-It keeps switching my selection to two instead of five for the radio/xm presets.
-It keeps switching my display to "Auto" instead of my usual "Night" setting.
-When I start my truck the station will either be to the lowest AM station -or- will say "SID" and some numbers, no music. This doesn't always happen, but does half the time.
-It won't even store my Wifi network anymore.

I did a master reset, now it won't even do a master reset, just freezes.

Sometimes the back up camera will stay on while I'm driving, I actually like this, but then the screen goes black and stays that way until I do a soft reset.

I've pulled the negative on the battery, twice, and let it sit for an hour, nothing changes.

Yes, same issues here. Annoying!

 

apim is about to go. it will work for a long time failing though. took mine over a year after the first symptoms showed up.

 

Mine will now master reset and the display (auto/night) seems to be sticking. I'm sorry to hear this is the sign of the APIM about to go.

 

Same exact issue with mine. Finally came back on after multiple soft resets

 

Did you just sit there and keep doing the resets?

I'm convinced this is because of the update, because I had zero issues before that.
