Default Recalibrating speedometer on 2015

Is it possible? I've seen mixed info on this subject. I'm going from 30.5 to 32 inch tires and would like the speedo and mpg to be accurate.

Yes absolutely it's possible - just not with Ford's IDS software. You must use an aftermarket tuner or speedometer calibrator

Agreed.

I changed tire size and used the Hypertec Speedometer Calibrator. Plugs in to the OBD port. It ran me about $220 but it gave me peace of mind and made my truck "legal".

When these tires wear out and I go back to stock I can reset it to factory and the device will no longer be married to my truck, allowing me to sell it.

I've asked before, but do any aftermarket dealers have muti-use licenses where you could bring your truck to them and not have to buy the unit yourself?

Not really, but we do offer price matching for the unit (selling for $206.10 for a limited time) and there is a first time buyer discount (5%).

Pretty good deal compared to other sellers. Comes out to $195.80.

Mine was around $250 so that's a great deal. Margin has to be huge for the manufacturer, not necessarily the reseller. I have one and it's a little plastic box with a few lines of code. Too bad FORD won't just do it.

yeah I would like to have my re-calibrated but not for almost $200.

and I don't really plan on running a tuner on this truck or else I would just buy one that could do it. but that's even more $$.

i'll just live with it.
