Default Rebates

Any word yet on the new rebates - I believe all but the smart cash was to expire July 5th. I am hoping they are increasing them when new ones come out.

It is a safe bet that the rebates will be at minimum as good as they were, and more than likely even better. As they wind down the 2016 model year heading into the 2017 MY.

That is what I am hoping - I will wait a few days to see what they come out with. If anyone has any insider info that would be great. I am looking at a Lariat so the additional rebates will help.

Appears updated info is already on the Ford website that shows certain incentives through Aug 1.

For my area (North Carolina) it is only showing a 0% for 60 mo + $1000, and an "XLT" option....

$2,250 Customer Cash + $300 2.7L V6 EcoBoost Bonus Cash + $2,000 Bonus Cash + $1,000 Ford Smart Bonus Cash (PGM #35614) + $2,000 302A XLT Luxury Chrome or Sport National Discount Package + $3,209 Average Dealer Discount based on a sales survey of average discounts offered by Ford dealers regionally. Discount may vary; dealer determines price + $500 Ford Credit Bonus Cash which requires Ford Credit financing.

However, I'm curious if the sub-components that would also apply to a Lariat or other trim where applicable - i.e. would a 3.5 Eco Lariat be eligible for: $2,250 Customer Cash + $2,000 Bonus Cash + $1,000 Ford Smart Bonus Cash (PGM #35614) + $3,209 (or some other number) Average Dealer Discount based on a sales survey of average discounts offered by Ford dealers regionally??

Looks like this rebate cycle is good until 10/1/16.

I am too and I am getting different answers from different dealers. It looks like to me that the Lariat has 1,000 customer cash, 1,000 bonus cash and if eligible 1,000 smart bonus cash plus the 500 rebate if you finance. I don't know why they can't make this more clear.

Generally consumer confusion has worked out well in vehicle sales. They hope to get you in the door and overwhelm you with all the rebates/package discounts/bonus cash etc etc.

A lot of modern consumers would likely buy a vehicle off Amazon if they were assured it was the lowest price. A big turn off for me is "Please contact your local dealer for the latest information on our current retail offers." Puleeeese!
