Rear doors "suicide" function, doesn't work.
On both of my rear doors when you have the rear doors locked, you cannot double pull the handle to open the door. Every 150 I have ever owned or for that matter, even a recent loaner vehicle the rear doors will open when they are locked by pulling the door handle. Once to unlock and once to open the door. The vehicle is used and new to me. It is almost set up so the only way you can open. The rear doors are if the entire car is unlocked. For everybody's reference yes the child door safety mechanism has been disabled.(turned off.) and for clarification once again if all doors on my truck have been unlocked from the front the rear inside door handles work as they should..
Is this something that can be changed with Ford scan nowadays or is there something mechanically missing on both of my doors?

Full size crew cab, rear doors. On all my other Fords one pull (squeeze) of rear handle will pop the lock open and pull 2 opens the doors.
I have had a 12,15,17 and now this 19. The 19 will open the doors if unlocked with switch or manually pulled up. I've also had a 24 for a loaner, the doors on that worked like all the others.
again child locks are off.
