Driver's side A-Pillar got messed up so I had to order a new one. No big deal, so the new one arrives and the speaker grill looks different. Frustrated but oh well, so my OCD kicks in and I can't have two different speaker grills so I order the passenger side one to match. Well it shows up with the original style grill. Any ideas on which one is current?

 

drivers side is for a basic sound system no tweeter. passenger is for system with tweeter.

 

Ok, but the driver's side CAME with a tweeter... There is a tweeter behind that grill...

 

The drivers side looks like solid plastic, which would block sound.
Maybe it’s a defective piece or is that not solid plastic?

 

Sorry guys the picture is deceiving, the drivers side has a plastic grill with a tweeter. It’s not solid. It came with a tweeter installed. The differences are the grills.

Also I couldn’t use the tweeter that came with the plastic grilled version, I had to reinstalled the old one beside the adapter / plug was different.
