I love the rubber mat, I have a hurculiner kit to put in my truck but my rubber mat from the dealer will be going back on top, both my other trucks have one and it's the best way to go for my use. Gives the dog plenty of traction too. I have never been a fan of the hard plastic kind and several I have took out had a lot of rubbing underneath but they were probably cheap and not installed the best, usually had gravel under parts of it too
