Thanks first to 2016BoostedGreyGoose for the help and wiring harness. It’s just about as simple as wiring can be. This is for trucks with console shifters...I think column shift may be different but I’m not positive.
So...first you need this wheel.
Drop the glovebox all the way down by pushing in the tabs on each side then drop the panel under the steering wheel down and also remove the metal plate held on with 4 8mm screws. Use a wire to fish the harness across the dash, green wires stay on the driver side.
Locate this plug to the right behind the glovebox. Unplug it to get some breathing room to work.
The wires in the harness match the wire colors in the plug you need to tap into.
Splice into the oem wires however you like. I’ve seen people use t-taps but decided on butt connectors for mine. Make your connections and plug everything back in.
Remove the steering column cover by removing the 3 7mm screws on bottom and pulling it apart the locate this plug on the top left.
Remove the plug and you’ll see the numbers on it for the wire locations. Match the numbered wires in the new harness to the corresponding locations in the plug.
Gently insert the wires and you’ll feel the pin snap into place. It’ll look like this when you’re done.
And that’s it. Reinstall everything you removed and go have some fun.

Just a thought to make this more complete. You might include a link in the tutorial to where people can buy the harness that 2016BoostedGreyGoose makes and sells.

Great idea... I just PM'd Goose... not sure how else to get it.
So I went out to my favorite...and really only curvy road around here to play this morning. Being able to keep both hands on the wheel and the truck in the gear I want was worth the cost...I was having a pretty damy good time.
Now to get the Whipple strapped on and really have some fun. There’s a set of roads in central Texas called the Twisted Sisters...I can’t wait to get out there now.
