So I took a few pics of the wheel installed with the stripe painted but no matter what I do it looks like the top of the wheel is black compared to grey on on the bottom half. In reality both halves look the same to my eye so not sure why I can't take a picture showing it represented correctly but it matches perfectly with the color outside the stripe area. Anyways, here's a few pics and I tried bumping up the brightness on 2nd one but still looks weird in picture. I can tell the guy only did the stripe part with paint because the white stitching on the stripe part has black/grey paint on the stitches.

Quick question, I don't think it's already been answered, unless I missed it (if so, sorry). How do the shift paddles work exactly? With this mod, do you have to put it into 'M' mode to use them?

My assumption is that they'd work exactly the same as the +/- buttons on the existing shifter.
In D, it would limit the trans from higher gears. In M, full manual mode, same as stock.

FYI: I tried programming the Raptor's as-built values for the right-hand steering wheel button switches in SCCM (724-03-01 xx34 xxxx xx) just to see what would happen and FORScan refused the write with the "incompatible configuration" message so it seems a newer firmware would need to be flashed to SCCM for this to be possible. So add getting a spare SCCM to my to-do list for some future firmware endeavors.
