Default Raptor shift Paddles on non-Raptor write-up

I am just man doing the write up. Credit goes out to 2016BoostedGreyGoose for doing a lot of the heavy lifting, daaaaaan for providing pics, and Livnitup for his computer genius. If I missed anyone, let me know!

Refer to this thread for steering wheel part numbers.

Using all the information provided, this is how I got the paddles working on my 2015 Lariat 502A. There will be some variation for those with a column shifter, as there is a harness right there that can be tapped into. If someone with the console shift wants to do this mod, I'll post the diagram.

I won't waste time with how to remove the steering column shroud, but you'll need to get that off. This is also assuming the Raptor Steering wheel is already installed. From what it seems so far, all the trucks are already have the pins in the clockspring on both sides and the connection through the SCCM, which is attached to the back of the clockspring.

So, after getting the shroud off, locate connector 226 and unplug from the back of the SCCM. Remove the white cover on the face of the connector. That holds the pins in place.

You find that there's available openings on pins 9, 10, and 11.
9=Downshift
10=Upshift
11=Return/common
One method to get the pins is to order the pigtail WPT-930. The better method is ordering the terminals. The part number is WT1001 (Thanks lucas8888!). I just happened to have a whole harness from a previous project that I was able to take three wires from. Pop those into C226 in those aforementioned openings and remember what wire colors you used!

Next, will depend on how much work you want to do. There's two places to tap into the existing up/down shift buttons. C215, which is behind the center console, OR C210 which is behind the glove box. I went with behind the glove box. Run the wires from the steering wheel column to the glove box area however you see fit. I wrapped mine in the nice cloth tape. If you drop the glove box and release the catches on both sides, you see three connectors staring you in the face. You'll want the gray connector on left.
Disregard my blue testing wire.

Here's a pic of my wires inserted into the connector. This is temporary until I have time to solder.

This is where i ran the wire behind the glove box.

Here's a vid of it in action. Not moving, of course.

I think that pretty much sums it up. I've attached the diagram for reference.

Ok, so you are all capable of doing this mod yourself....pinning, wire running, soldering and taping. I keep stock of pin wires for projects I do. Though I'm low on WT1001, I just placed another order for 90. I can provide wire harnesses for this mod, if you like, but again this is not required. It just makes it a tad easier for you to get the pin wires you need already soldered to the length of wire that you need and fabric taped for the location you select.
Location C210- $???.00
Location C219- $??.00
(this is for you column shift guys)
...again this is being offered to make it easier.

*Locations AND prices are invalid....pls contact via PM Both harness designs are now FULLY PnP with no soldered wire connections. Both harness designs connect to completely different locations.

Damnit! Here goes more money out the window! Thanks so much!! I was waiting to see if this would come to fruition before I ordered the steering wheel.

DU2Z-14474-BA (WT1001)

you can use 3 on this and 2 if adding heated steering wheel. then you would use the whole pack up...

Glad y'all got it working. I'd do that wheel if it wasn't for the red stripe. It would be completely out of place in my truck.

Kick *** write up, can't wait to do this to mine, just because the stupid red stripe would go great with my interior.

Thank you to everyone that was involved in making this happen, I was lurking on the other thread and was looking forward to this.

Any leather shop/interior shop can easily change that red to black FYI
