Raptor markup is bs
Getting my oil changed and they have this guy sitting in the showroom. Every time I have seen a raptor new in Colorado there is this sticker. 25k market adjustment is bs. wife came in with her explorer at same time and I got the wheels spinning in her head about trading mine until she saw that sticker...... Couldn't I work a deal on a special order without the markup? Damn you dealer.

That is bs. I understand when a new model is released that there is high demand and dealerships will often insist on the msrp price. Happens when the Mustang gets remodelled, I bet the first 2015 f150s were similar and obviously the new raptor. 25K over msrp? That's just insane. It's worth your time to find another dealership anywhere in the US, get msrp price, trade in there and drive it home, who cares if it's across the country.

It was a little more understandable with the gen 1 trucks, since they were limited production. The gen 2 raptor is not limited production. Ford will build as many as people order, but I think it's still an issue of the dealers being limited on how many they can order.
