Raptor blocks
So I ordered the raptor lift blocks and just an FYI they are no longer tapered as some of these threads have stated. I used a new 17 raptor we had on the lot for the vin to obtain the blocks.
No I don’t have pictures. The measurements were just a hair under 2 5/8 front and rear of the block.
People like the raptor block as the were supposedly tapered which would aid in keeping the pinion angle correct.
im hoping someone with the tapered blocks chimes in so I can figure out the cutoff year for the switch in size.

Thanks, wonder why they're not tapered anymore. Maybe the mounting plate on the axle has been tilted on the newer ones. Anyway, in the case of vibration, might turn into a PITA more/less experimenting with shims.
Might be a good thing though, there are cases where guys have installed tapered blocks with the taper opposite each other side to side.
