Maybe I'm just old... or getting old... but has anyone else had trouble with the reverse lights just not being bright enough?
I get that they probably aren't installed as rear headlights, but I don't remember this kind of issue with previous F150s or the Ram I owned previously.
Aside of adding lights, is there an option for us blind folk?
No, nothing wrong with your eyes, they're junk, same with the 12th gen. I looked on my bookmarks but couldn't find the ones I've got. Aftermarket is tons better, get the most lumens you can. If I can find mine I'll post them.
I bought two waterproof led strips 16 inches long and mounted them to the horizontal bar on the reciever hitch to help with light while keeping the glare out of the back up camera. I ran leads from the drivers taillight hosing to power them. got them off ebay and out of china for about 15 bucks, not super bright but helpful.
Twoboosted Added Rigid Ignite lights in his bumpers and tapped into the trailer harness. They look insanely bright. This might help. See his post below.
