radio static
2016 3.5 EB
I bought a new set of plugs and tightened the gap to 028.
put them in and noticed a rpm static noise. somebody said iridiums cant be gapped, I thought I had it fixed by unplugging a cop while running and changed the 1 plug to no avail. so I bought another set of plugs, gapped at the stock 032. put them in and still have static. seems to sound from 1 cylinder, rpm related.
but seems to come and go, its not constant.
any chance a spring connector in a cop or a cop is at fault?
any ideas?

ive again pulled the harness plug off the cop for the center cyl pass side and the static stopped. ok I ordered a new coil from rock auto $56.78 ish shipped. hopefully this is it, but their write ups on their different brands calls the motorcraft as designed to get rid of ignition noise.
I bought the original equip brand "denso" just in case another trip to my favorite moneypit ford. keep it original looking. part is on its way. I don't know...yet
this is 2016 f150 xl supercab 3.5 eb tt

less than 8000 miles
the motorcraft part is less than the denso ?
