If you have a tonneau cover, be aware that many racks aren't compatible. Here is one that is, but it's not cheap:

Right at $260 to do that with aluminum tubing, including hardware and plastic end caps. Another $80-100 if you want purty black anodized rails so you can remove it when not needed. This was what I was going to do before I decided I want to keep as much mileage as possible, and not have to use the step stool to load the yaks.

Of course, it was a foolish thought that I'd have an easy time of it and not try to put one more boat up there.

I've got a longer piece of aluminum on order for the hitch loader, because, by golly, not enough to be able to load five kayaks on the rack and two in the bed, if I can't get ten on the back of the truck, I'm not trying hard enough.

+1 on the Access adarac. I use mine when towing my travel trailer and it easily handles my kayaks. The plus is it allows the tonneau cover to still fit (I use an access classic cover, but I believe others will fit too). If you only want to use the rack when towing, you can leave the angle base rails on the truck and simply take off the two uprights and crossbars by removing 4 bolts (takes just minutes). I just wish the aluminum one was available when I got my truck (2016) as I have the steel version. That aluminum version looks much nicer!

Mines a bak revolver x4, fits great with the adarac.

@Scoobmaster or @duck9191

How much noise does the empty rack make? Could you here it in the cab at say 70 mph?
What are you using to load the kayaks sideways?

Thanks.

No noise. You can use jbars if you want to load them on their sides.
