I like the Nitto Crosstek's on my FX2. Agreesive looking sidewall but very streetable tread pattern.

The KO2s look great and I like the way they ride. They're quiet on the highway which is great because that is most of my driving. The only time I can hear road noise from them is when I am coming to a stop. It may just be that all the other noise (engine, wind, other vehicles) has gone away?

Cons would definitely be price and no listed mileage warranty.

Toyo Open Country R/T........BFG KO2........Cooper ST MAXX........all 3 of these tires look "meaty" & perform well on road, as well as off road. The Goodyear Duratrac is also a very good tire for highway driving, it does get a little loud when it's at half tread or less.

Hankook dynapros are nice too. I really like them. They came on my platinum.

Basically what you're wanting I've already done. 2wd, 2.5" AutoSpring level, OEM 4wd blocks, and 275/60 G2's. Haven't noticed much more noise from the tires and so far only lost about .3 MPG over stock.

The Cooper Zeon LTZ's are a very aggressive tire that is more of a hybrid than an off road tire.

I've got them on my Harley & love them.

What are your fender heights? I was thinking possible coil-overs

This is a really good route to go, except I would choose 275/60r20 which is also still 'P' rated and just a tiny bit heavier than stock. They were good enough for the Freak-O-Boost!
