Default Quick question

What is the general thoughts on 3.31 gears with the 3.5L? Would I hate it if I do 33" tires? Would I hate it with the stock tires with maybe 1200lbs in the back?
Don't care about getting to from point A to B the fastest.

Thanks

3.55 to me was the best choice, because they are really well all around gears. 3.31 might not show much of a difference while you are stock but seem to start kicking in where they lack with larger tire sizes. As far as pulling once the load starts to move you won't see any difference, unless its some crazy up hill slow lug.

Thanks for the comment.
I took the one comment I got and what info I could gather from a search and a dealer trade is being done for the truck.
We had a truck on order with 3.55's but it turned out it wasn't going to arrive until well after we a due to leave the area and won't return until next May. A little fupa at the beginning of the order it seems. The truck will probably never see a trailer behind it but may end up with a Harley in the back so hopefully the 3.33's won't be an issue.

Form just about everything I have read. The low end toque on the ecos is so good that the only way you would be able to tell the gear difference is if you pulled something in a truck with 3.31s then pulled the exact same thing in a similarly optioned truck with 3.55s.
