Default Question that might be dumb

While I love my truck, I'm not happy with three things. Two are fortunately easy to fix, but one is stymieing me.

The easy ones:
Sport 6 spoke 20s instead of the 18s - find someone to swap or sell the 18s as pull offs and pick up either some used gunmetal ones or buy the black painted ford performance ones.

Chrome step bumper - I'm tall, it's just in the way and I dislike chrome anyways. Will just pull off and sell when I can.

Difficult one (for me):
I have a 2wd. I dislike the rake and I think the back is way too high up. But I can only find front spacers to level and not much to drop the back. Also, I'm concerned that the ride will be negatively affected once I can find drop shackles or whatever to lower the butt.

So I guess my questions are:

Drop shackles exist. I know they do. But they all say "for 4wd". A full lowering kit also exists and is a good aesthetic, but it doesn't come with drop shocks. Will either negatively affect the ride to the point where I'll want to go back to stock height? Should I search for drop shocks if I go with the lowering kit (It's a 2"/4")?

Thanks

PS - I'm looking to get the bed line-x sprayed as well. I was quoted $499 for pro and $599 for platinum. This dealer only offers those two and it's cheaper than the other semi-local dealer that only offers the more basic standard and premium by $50 - 75. Is this a fair price in 2017? I saw something about "don't spend more than $500" but I think those were from 3 - 5 year old forum posts

Ford charged me $450 for the LineX liner pro. Didnt like how shiny platinum was and they said it wouldnt get less shiny. Everyone else was within $40 of the price but Ford would be responsible with any warranty issues, so I went with the dealer

Those are the same prices i was quoted from a line-x installer at a local 4x4 shop. I went with the platinum as i wanted the fade protection being in Texas...it's hot. The shine to me doesn't bother me, almost makes it look more premium.

2wd has no rear blocks. Just throw a set of Ground Force drop shackles on it and you’ll be fine. That shackle doesn’t know if it’s on a 2 or 4wd truck.

So I was a bit nosy and saw you had the McGaughys 2/4 drop on your truck. Did it mess with the ride too much? That actually interests me as much, if not more, than just leveling.

I installed the Ford Performance M-3000-H on my 2017 RWD truck. Lowered it exactly 2". FWIW. is the exact same kit as the Ground Force UNBROKEN mentioned. Even comes with pinion shims. Ride is better with the lowering shackles, but I did order a pair of Bilsteins for the rear, should be here next week.
