Default Question on Climate display

Hey guys,

I just picked up a F150 last Friday. To turn on the heated seats do you just use the hard button? I thought there was a button on the climate screen - my screen has none?

I've been messing around with all the settings so I was wondering if I shut if off somehow.

thanks

You mean like these... I think some said that ford stopped putting them on the screen. I have no reason why they work perfect.

Confirmed, no more on screen, and they did work!

One too many distractions, I suppose?

That looks like the main screen - If you click on the climate screen do they show up there as well?

thanks

Not sure I would have to check and have to be honest I never ever use the climate screen at all.

I picked up my 502A Screw 10 days ago and no there is nothing on climate screen. The only way to turn heated/cooled seats is with the hard buttons.

Well to be honest, what's the difference between one or two buttons to work it. I have both on mine and only use the hard button as you call it. Why do we need two buttons?

@khaos

In addition to the hard buttons, they appear on both the Home and Climate screens as below. FWIW, looks like my build date was Feb 20th based on a Blend date of 220150224.

Would be nice if Ford just made the whole Sync interface a customizable interface, letting users pick and choose what buttons to see, and where.

But at any rate, I don't really care for all the trouchscreen stuff. It's great when you're still, but you can identify and press a real button without taking your eyes off the road...

I picked up my 2015 Lariat Sport on 9/4 and it does NOT have the cooling/heating options on the touch screen, only the heated steering wheel. I wish ALL the controls were in the touch screen for a much cleaner look
