So thinking of getting mud flaps/splash guards.

Seen these.
Says with oem Fender flairs.
Are they talking about the trim around the wheel wells?

(((IH8 MUD-FLAPS)))

But...I'm gonna install em when it warms up along with OEM Flares. The sides of my truck get crapped on even when the roads are bone dry.

Haven't started researching enough to find what looks the best + actually does what it's designed to do. Have you checked other brands & versions?

I just put the Weathertech on mine. I think they will definitely help, but I don't know that they will do a fantastic job. Granted I've got the stock hankooks and sport 20s on my truck so they aren't very wide. I'm sure there are betters out there, but for the price I think they are a good option. They look good and are very easy to put on.
Looking at the ones you posted, I think the Weathertechs may have a little bigger profile.

I hate em too but if you want bigger tires and keeping the truck clean its either flares or flaps or both...I'm looking at the WeatherTechs or Ford OEMs as soon as the weather warms up...I have to do something soon
And as was stated YES to your question

Yes it would be the "factory" trim around the wheel wells....also if you get into WeatherTech mud guards you have to know your running board length as well

What do you have for a Reg-Cab with OEM Flares & Factory Running Boards?

Just had a Ford OEM set installed on the truck on Wednesday. Very happy so far. Very similar to what you posted.

FWIW

If you have oversize tires, double check the front mud flaps potential clearance.

I have the Weathertech's and 275/65R20's and they just miss the front flaps. Only by 1/2 inch or so at full turn.

The Weathertech's are great. And I too hate flaps. But, I also hate a dirty truck.

Everything's a compromise.
