Planning on putting in an order for a new 2018 soon as I can't find what I want on dealer lots. It's a pretty high optioned 302a so there's not much else to add but just wanted to get everyone's thoughts in case I'm missing something.

I don't think the $1300 for the moon roof is worth it to me and don't need the FX4 which are really the only two outstanding packages. Only thing I'm unsure of is Box Link - I definitely want the cleats but I've heard Boxlink comes with 302a so I shouldn't need to add it separately correct?

 

Box Link does NOT come with a 302a. Other things you might want to consider are 36 gallon tank and tailgate step. I had to have the 36 gallon tank and my Mom talked me into the tailgate step and I LOVE it.

Edit I see you got max tow which comes with the bigger tank I believe.

Mine 2016 Max Tow had not come with bigger tank ... too bad ... I miss the bigger tank. Worth double checking.
It also had not come with LT tires as was specified in Max Tow specs then. You might want to check on this as well.

 

Max Tow includes the 36 gallon tank, at a pretty good discount too. I'll check on the tires though. I'm iffy on the tailgate step - I really don't feel like I would ever use it but I've also heard from a ton of people who say they thought the same thing but use it all the time...

I'll be talking to my dealer tonight, we'll see if they know anything about the production issues.

Make sure you have both options spelled out on the dealer's order. My "build your truck" specs had both options but somehow the dealer's ordering system missed both.

 

Get the larger fuel tank. You'll thank me later.
