Default Purchased Wheels - Need input

I ordered a set of Method NV's 18x9 +18 from Custom Offsets. I also ordered a set of hub centric rings. They came back and said the rings are not in stock and offered a refund. I accepted. Now I'm shopping for rings 94mmOD - 87mm ID and cannot find any. I called Method and they said you can't use rings on the NV's because it's a push through center cap.

Call it preference or whatever you want but I don't like the fact the lugs are supporting the weight of the wheels opposed to the hub. Now, do I cancel the order and find something else or just go with it?

Can you run the ring if you don't use the ugly center cap?

id be more worried about getting your wheels centered with no hub rings.

That is a concern as well.

I went through a similar dilemma when wheel shopping. I ended up going with wheels that are hub-centric.

I just canceled the order. If I hadn't had to go to a hub centric ring in the past due to vibrations I don't know that I'd be too concerned about it, but not having the option is a deal killer for me.

It's going to work out okay though because I've been 'window shopping' gear install costs and got a quote today from a local offroad shop that was recommended to me that I'm going to go with. Wheels will come later. 4.10's are going to happen now.

I would send them back and get wheels with the right hub bore. Rhino and XD come to mind.
