Got one of these when I started pulling my household items from IL to AL. My 6x12 can be loaded with up to 2100lb, and I always worried about the tongue and axle weight. This helped ease my mind. My stx drug the 8" so I cut about 2" off of it. It'll still tap the ground a time or 2 coming out of a driveway.
That's really cool. Even someone experienced with trailers could benefit from that as there's always some gain to be had by making sure tongue weight is right.

I like this one, https://www.weigh-safe.com/product/universal-tow-ball/

Decent price and can work with a standard hitch setup, and 1500lbs max is plenty for a stock F-150 (about 3x plenty without a WDH).

I got mine from Amazon. They had a coupon code back in may, I think I got it for 240. Pricey, but the peace of mind was worth it. Made 7 trips back an forth form Troy IL to Huntsville AL with it. Other than the scraping going in /out of drive ways, its been great. Non 4wd F150s would only need the 4" drop, 4wd can prob get away with the 6" drop.

I had a vibration pulling my 20 ft car hauler as well.
I bought some balancing beads for the tires and the vibration went away.

You will also have issues if the trailer isn't level. Does the trailer tilt up to hitch it up? If so, you need to find a drop hitch to get it lined up and level. Been through that with a Volvo wagon years ago when the trailer was higher that the hitch, giving me too much tongue weight and a bad case of the tail wagging the dog.

danlong..... appreciate the response. I actually am familiar with each. I got ahead of myself typing before thinking. Either way, thanks for response.

I had a feeling had everything to do with tongue weight and overall weight for trailer. However, I was told ahead of time before driving 4 hours to pick up sxs that the 6x10 trailer is suffice and all that is needed and that this would not affect pulling. I am confident that they were wrong at this point. Thanks for all of the feedback.

Ifallsguy... The trailer was not level. This too may have alot to do with it. It was all that I had at the moment for the last minute trip.

Will take care of it and get it corrected. Edumacation does go a long way...lol

I put my ATV over my 6x12 enclosed trailers single axle, then strap it into place. It pulls perfect.

From your initial post you didn't seem like you were very familiar with towing, and since the only tongue weight that exists is the trailer tongue weight, your question further supported that idea. Too many people are clueless about proper trailer setup (or that it even matters) and can put themselves (and others) in danger because of that.

If your problem is truly a tongue weight issue, which it sounds like it could be, there's a chance that simply loading your SxS the other direction may help without the need for a new trailer. It's all about where the weight is in relation to the axle...

overall towing/loading correct, not too familiar proper technique. my statement was referring to dumb**s tongue weight question lol. I will definitely change direction as I am certain that this will put most of motor weight over axle. Thanks for your help and sincerity of the matter to get resolved.

Check your trailer lug nuts. The last time I pulled off my trailer tires and reinstalled, I put the lugs on backward causing the wheels to not be centered on the lugs. The trailer shook the entire 380 mile ride up and back. I thought my trailer tires were shot so I replaced them.

When I installed the new tires I saw I put the lugs on backward. Dumbass.

For reference, the lugs are tapered on one side and that's the side that pushes into the wheel, centering it on the hub bolt. I put the flat side on the wheel! Duh!

Just had tires replaced and had to install them so I know that is done correctly. Thanks
