Default Pull the trigger on a XLT Sport

I'm looking at an XLT Sport at my local dealer. The window sticker is below. They have it priced at $41,095 which includes $6,090 in rebates and incentives. They say they don't negotiate on the price because they are a volume dealer. Should I look elsewhere or is this a decent deal? Seems like others are getting better offers.

I have never heard of a dealership that does not negotiate at all.

I just configured the truck on cars.com and invoice says about $43,500. Which, minus the $6,090 in rebates would be $37,410. I'm guessing I can do better elsewhere if they aren't willing to negotiate. $41,000 seemed high for an XLT.

My truck was very close to that one except i have the 301A/ Sport package and FX4 package and Max Two. No remote start for me or backup assist, i did get the camera. I also have the 3.5 Ecoboost and i got mine for 46,500 MSRP 42k out the door. Not the same but close in price.

My XLT Sport has everything you have minus Nav and mine is 3.5 Eco. Sticker on mine was $47k and change. After trade in and $1,000 incentive they still came down a couple thousand. It was 1 of 3 at the dealer back in January and mine was sitting on the showroom.

Jscott86 - Did you actually sit down with them and 'crunch' numbers, credit check etc? I can't imagine they won't at least come down a bit once they see you are a serious buyer.

You've never heard of Carmax, autonation etc..? It is becoming increasingly common for dealerships to label themselves "No Haggle". The dealer I found my truck at last month gave me the trade in rebate and finance rebate even though I did neither.

You are way off the mark. You want a 2015 for 10k lower than MSRP?????? That ain't gonna happen . . .

I tried to pull up the website for incentives on a 2015 XLT but the site is down. As of last week the only retail incentive I could find was $1,000 rebate. Subtract that from the invoice and that puts you in the ball park. Another few hundred sure, a grand possible, but what you want is simply not going to happen. And the comment about 41k for an XLT is also way off base. XLT's are now sticking for mid 40's and if there are no incentives then there are no incentives. One can't simply state a given price is too high for an XLT.

My dealer ordered a new truck for me for $99 below invoice with incentives off of that. That means my new XLT with an MSRP of 46.5 will cost me somewhere around 43.5 with any factory incentives lowering the price further. But with rebates last week at 1,000, there is no way I'll see a price of 37k.

Now if you are trading a vehicle in or financing the situation can change dramatically in the former and a little bit in the latter. They'll happily knock another 5k off on your new truck and you'll get less for your trade. Dealers have incentives from finance companies to "use them" and they can pass some of that savings along to you.

The $6,000 in rebates is not all manufacturer rebates. They're probably essentially offering it to you at invoice less the factory rebates, hence the $6,000 off sticker. That's a fair deal...very few people here are getting anything substantially less than that. $41,000 is about right for a well equipped XLT...whether we agree with it or not.
