Default PTBA sticker question

Since my truck didn't have the stickers, I was thinking of printing them on a
magnetic sheet magnetic sheet
so that I could easily remove it and transfer from trailer to trailer. Anyone done this before? Also, does anyone have the dimensions of the sticker? It's hard to tell what it is from the images that I've seen online.

Great idea. But the stickers I have are gloss and matte squares. The top 4 squares have a matte finish while the bottom 4 have a gloss finish. I'm not sure if this affects how the camera sees the sticker. I've attached a scan of the stickers that were in my truck along with the measurements. I work at a print shop and have some magnet paper in stock I may try as well and see how it works. Of course I could just use the stickers I have but it would be convenient to remove and use on a different trailer.

You would need to be pretty accurate placement putting them back on a trailer in the same spot for it to utilize the measurements programmed into the truck for each trailer.

Thanks for the image and feedback. I wonder if the different finish has anything to do with lighting? Seems like the matte would have less reflection in a bright sun.

Nothing a little mark on the trailer for realignment purposes wont solve.

That's what I'm thinking. I plan on setting my trailer up using the stickers this weekend. But I will also print a set of magnets. Once set up and working with the stickers I'll place the magnet directly on top the stickers and see if it still functions properly.

This seems like a fair amount of time spent for something easily purchased. I believe that the part below comes with 3-5 stickers and is $40.

Sheet of magnetic print medium is $8.00. If I can print it out easily and stick it on the trailer, it doesn't seem like more work than using a sticker. A very small paint mark on the trailer will let me put the magnet back in the same spot every time. This would also be handy if you haul around different rental trailers as well.

If you can print it an it's UV stable, that's awesome, and more power to you. Let us know how it turns out so that others that want to can do the same.

If you're hauling rental trailers, you ought to be able to back them without PTBA, but I digress. I've used mine three times, to test it out. It's faster to just back the trailer myself then to wait for it to initialize, etc.

Here is a pdf of a letter size sheet I will be printing on the magnets. Sized it according to my original sticker. Will update with how everything works.
