weird, I thought it normally popped up saying how

https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/sync-updates/how-do-i-install-sync-updates-using-a-usb-drive-or-wi-fi/

it's basically, download to flashdrive, make sure the drive is formatted as exFAT, plug into USB port, start vehicle, let it update, it'll reboot when it's done. might take up to a half hour to complete.

you don't need to buy one "with" the format, you use your computer to do that. Buy any flash drive that has enough space.

Just because i had it i tried it. The "Seagate" model SRD00F1 did not work (i formatted to exFAT prior to down loading). Today i received a new SD Ultra 3.0 flash drive 256GB from Staple's. It should do the trick. A great album i will listen to is Rare Earth: In Concert (1971) in my humble opinion one of the finest live rock albums of all time. I grade it a six pack album (my highest grade) it is so good. Enjoy it.

Not the same thing. Those are 3 star albums. Rare Earth: In Concert is a 5 star album comparable to Frampton Comes Alive and Waiting for Columbus. Give it a try, you will love it.

What's the conversion ratio between packs and stars?

Good question. To correct myself Rare Earth: Ma is only second to "In Concert" (4.5 stars or 4.5 beers). Each star is a beer and since In Concert is not just great but a double album you will need a six pack to completely enjoy it.
