Default Pro trailer Backup assist setup problem

First time trying to setup the PBA on a fairly new 2020 F150, and it keeps cancelling the setup and saying all the measurements are not saved, even though I never get to the point of inputting the measurements. I have tried looking for help on the internet, the dealership, and calling Ford, and have gotten Zero help from any of them. I am hoping someone here has some experience or knowledge about why this keeps happening, or knows who to contact about it. Thank you for any help

OP could you describe exactly the steps you took before set up was cancelled. (Hook up & plug in trailer, make sure trailer & truck aligned & level, etc). Any obstructions between back up camera and sticker?

Took it to the dealership, it needed a software update/reboot. After that it has worked perfectly. I bought it brand new, so not sure why it needed all that but it did

Sorry for late response, but I did everything in order of the steps, when I would put in reverse to “calibrate” it would disconnect. After software update it worked great

I purchased the 2021 model and hit this message on day one. All attempts to remediate failed. I went to 4 different dealers, a total of 6 visits and they are unable to fix it.

I had the same problem. Took my F150 to a dealer. They found the rear camera and trailer backup not aligned. They performed an IPMB initialization to align the rear camera. (??). then performed a pro backup align with proper mats. All good

they aligned my camera during one of the visits but that did not help. After 6 visits to different dealerships, no one was able to fix it. I finally had to trader it in.
