Default Power window bounce back.

Do my rear door power windows have the bounce back feature? If so, how do I get it working?
One would think it's a standard feature to keep kiddos and dogs from being injured when windows close.

I don't care about any visors !
He simply said that his 18 had them and explained how he found out. Just because you don't know what visors/ventshades are doesn't make it a bad answer.

I believe you need to have at least 100 posts before you can act like a jerk here. At your current rate that will take another 20 years.

In the meantime......be nice.

My '18 has it, as it activates when I leave the rear windows (any window really) down below the vent visors I have installed for any length of time. The visors will slip or move in the hot sun, and the window will bounce back if it hits one. You will need to put something in the top of the window frame such as a paper towel folded up and stuffed into the window track, or try a small stuffed animal/pillow, dog leash, etc.

That doesn't help me at all. I don't have any "visors" and don't know what they are, or how they have any significance to my question.
I don't care about any visors !

Can someone answer this?

Do my rear passenger door power windows have a bounce back feature or not? I so, how do I get them working for safety purposes?
I have tried closing the windows with a pillow in the way and it just crushes the pillow. That sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Thanks.

There's your problem. You should use 3-4 hot dogs. It's more representative of fingers.

Also, my truck has it, as does the other person who posted above. But I have no clue on yours.

I believe StonedFX4 was trying to help but your response was harsh.

I thought that was only ever done on auto up windows, as in the front ones. I've never seen it otherwise on any vehicle, though it's not something I check.

It's called anti-entrapment, not bounce back. Yes, the windows all have it, by federal law.

His post would have been helpful in answering your question if you were less stupid. He literally explained how he knows his same-year (as yours) truck has the feature and then told you how to test your truck and you answered rudely because you were too stupid to comprehend what he said.

It's really simple to test; sit in your backseat, stick your head out of the window (You'll want to roll it down first), then raise the window until the window stops (and returns back open) or everything goes black.
