Unhappy Power Sliding Rear Window - Problem

So I heard a pop the other day in the back seat, went looking around and the little plastic box that connects wires and such to the small piece of glass that slides in my 2017 F150 had come off and the plastic is broken (how it happened? No idea... maybe it hates the Las Vegas heat as much as I do). I need to replace this part now but that involves 2 problems...

1: I have no idea what the part is called

2: I have no idea if anything special is needed to replace it.

Can anyone help?

I'd bring it to the dealer to see if they will replace under warranty, if you aren't over the 36k mile marker. Mine had broken off and dealer replaced under warranty.

out of warranty by about 4k miles. Did you happen to catch the part name when they replaced it?

Bummer. When i get home later, I'll see if I can make any sense of the paperwork for you.

I saw somewhere that the you can't buy just that part but the entire rear window has to be replaced. Don't know if that's true though.

Ok here you go, hope this helps. They replaced the section that connects to the rear sliding window.
And no, the whole rear window was not replaced... my sticker was still there...

not true... they repaired mine without replacing the whole back window. My stickers were still intact.

Here is the video y'all are talking about where the whole rear window assembly was replaced under warranty. I am glad to see that the unit can now be repaired because replacing the whole unit would be too expensive.

Time for the back window starts at the 4:00 mark.
