I’ve been noticing that sometimes, not always, when I remote start my truck the mirror will be jumping trying to angle as far to the right as it goes as seen in video and picture. And this only happens on the driver mirror.
after a minute or so it stops then I can press a seat memory button and it goes back to normal.
anyone have similar issue to this? Know what it could be?
Interesting, I’ll have to go to the dealer for a fix. I have uploaded the forscan mod for the Lincoln folding mirrors, could that be an issue with the dealer as far as warranty fixing?
I'll keep you guys posted, but it will be awhile before I go to the dealership. I do most of my own maintenance. I'll get the modules reprogrammed by the dealer sometime before my 3 warranty expires later this fall. I fully expect that this issue will be resolved by reprogramming, since there is a TSB on it.

Put them back to stock before you take it in. That way if the new firmware is different enough, it will not affect anything. When you get it back you can reprogram the Lincoln fold.
Circling back to this thread to give an update. I brought in my truck for a few items to be fixed before the B2B warranty expired. The clicking mirrors was on the list. Dealer acknowledged my concern, and claimed to perform the flash.
Prior to bringing in the truck, I documented the calibration and strategy levels of the DDM and PDM. After I got the tuck back, I compared the new values. This is where things got interesting. It looks like my dealer only flashed the DDM. This is only half of what is prescribed in SSM 49217. Both modules need to be updated.
Instead of going back and convincing the service manager that a module was not updated, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Using the latest Forscan beta (with firmware flashing) and a good hardwired adapter, I flashed the latest strategy onto my PDM. The flash went smooth, but the module appeared dead after the flash. It threw a DTC that there was missing configuration. I discovered that the flash wiped out the correct as built data in the module, and needed to recover using a backup. After restoring the as built data, everything works as expected. I have not seen the clicking mirrors come back so far, though I don't use the memory function everyday.
Details for my 2018 truck. I list strategy versions below, as this was the DDM value I noticed as being updated after bringing to the dealer. These can be seen in the initial forscan connection log.
Pre flash
DDM Strategy: DG9T-14C064-CB
PDM Strategy: DG9T-14C108-CB
Post flash
DDM Strategy: DG9T-14C064-CD
PDM Strategy: DG9T-14C108-CD

Can you please point me in the direction of the firmware I need for the updated strategy flash? Our 2017 truck is doing the mirror clicking almost every time I use the keyless entry pad to unlock the truck.
:edit: I'm assuming you used the built in firmware that forescan offers vs supplying your own file.
I've used forescan before to do things like eliminate fog light dropout and auto stop/start but never to flash firmware.

I'm this case, yes, Forscan offered a newer version, and was in alignment with what the dealer did on the driver side. Since this has been a known issue for a while, I suspect Forscan will already suggest what you need. The only time I've had to go out of the box is when there's a new PCM flash that just gets released. There is a delay for the Forscan developer to reverse engineer and provide it as an option.
I've noticed Ford typically increments newer firmware alphabetically, within the same naming series. In other words, if you suspect there's something newer than what's offered in Forscan, you can attempt to make an educated guess and see if such a file exists from Ford using the motorcraft service website - manual download option.
