Plug and Play Trailer Camera- No Disassembly No Programming
Pretty cool piece just realeased from NavTV!
Completely plug and play, automatically activated, requires ZERO/NO disassembly or programming of the truck in any way. The unit is plugged into factory plugs at the rear bumper and automatically activates only when a trailer is connected to the truck! Pretty awesome for anyone that tows a trailer!

Great idea but for my truck (8" screen) it's 500 bucks! That's a little rich for me but for some camper trailers it might be worth it. I also have 2 different trailers so it would be even more expensive........ Thanks for posting it however.
What would be nice would be getting that image from the camera to display on the trucks screen while going forward. I have a wireless camera on the back of my travel trailer. I have found that its completely useless to use for backing up. The angle is too wide and it distorts everything. I instead use mine while on the highway. I can see when I have cleared vehicles that I have passed and I can keep track of where vehicles are around me while under tow.

And make it salt water proof LOL

Very cool. Technology is really advancing in this area. I saw the 2020 GMC HD's will have a camera system that projects an image which makes the trailer appear see-through by stitching the images of the truck rear camera and a camera on the rear of the trailer.
