Got back from the Ocean and was washing my car the next day and spotted this coat hanger thing in front of the rear wheel on the passenger side. Looked on the drivers side and saw a similar thing but it was in a different location and shorter. What the is this thing and do I need to be worried aka can I drive to work tomorrow? It looks and bends just like a coat hanger, mind boggling.

The first two pics are the driver side which I assume are normal, the last two are passenger side. The coat hanger is in two different locations on each side as you can see.

Wonder if they are hangers used in the plant during assembly and never got removed.

This is a stretch but is it possible someone used those to hold the caliper during a brake job?

if you have a Hellwig sway bar, it looks like you do than that wire is what is attached to the bolt that is in the Hellwig kit to secure the adjustable end links... the wire is the only way to feed the bolt down in the frame rail

if it doesn't bother you leave them there as it make it easy to take the bolts out if need be in the future

I saw the post you made about the sway bar, but I didn't read it through to see that you could tell OP does have the swaybar installed.
