Default Please help with PCV sensor bypass/simulate signal!

So I’ve got the ‘20 3.5 eco-boost with the PCV sensor. I tried modifying it and of course I’ve got the famous disconnected code. I was determined to find a way around it. I tried moving the sensor around, I tried positioning the sensor to read into the intake where it pulls the air from, I tried resistors to drop the voltage down to 3.5 volts signaling the ECU, I tried pigtailing the signal from another map sensor, and still throws the “disconnected” SES light. I cannot tell what type of signal this sensor needs in order to simulate its proper use. At this point, I could either put it back to OEM or get a catch can with the proper hosing, but I’d really like to try to figure this out since I spent so much time on it. Has anyone else fought this battle? I’m about to throw up the white flag.

From what others are saying about the sensor on other forums, it seems the SES light comes on when it goes into boost after warming up. I wonder if I mount the sensor into the intake manifold if it would work…

DIY catch can setups tend to present full manifold vacuum to the crankcase, making the system think there is a leak. You need to modify the flow of the setup, and ensure there are zero leaks.
