I like mine just the way it is. I have no lift or leveling plans.

Good point and well said... I never ever buy a truck for mileage. I buy a truck because I want to tow and haul and use a truck as a truck. If I wanted mileage I would get a Honda Accord or a Nissan altma. Those would be my choices.

Because it takes a few more than just 2 sacks to level, not to mention the cargo space your losing by that method.

My truck leveled using your theory.

What it actually took.....

Does anyone know what a leveled truck looks like with a 500# tongue weight?

On my 13 Platinum I put on a 2" leveling kit. Left the stock tires and 20" wheels that came with the truck on. My gas mileage did not change AT ALL. I then put on 275/65/20 Toyo Open Country AT2 tires on and it dropped the mpg 1.85 per gallon.

The truck looked great with the added height with the larger tires. I had to adjust the head lights and did not like how it handled when towing. If all I cared about was looks then I would do the leveling kit on my 15 Platinum. But I will be towing a 7500 pound trailer so I will be keeping my stock suspension on my truck.

Use a weight distributing hitch and sag is gone. Not required but provides for a safer towing experience. Also helps control sway

Did you put air bags on the back to help with the sag?

Airbags will remove the sag, they won't transfer weight for towing which is why you use a WDH. I have airbags on mine but its only for ride quality.

This is my only Neg towards the level especially for the people who went 3.5eco for fuel then leveled out there truck.

Fuel economy , really why own a truck?

It may drop 1 to 2 mpg not 10mpg. I can gaurantee we dont buy a truck to save on fuel. We own a 5000 lb truck. Lol I am just saying, please dont take it personal.

Looks, bigger tires and chicks dig it. I like to see over cars in front of me.
