Default Plasti Dip

Can someone explain this to me. Is it just spray paint ? I am looking at doing the F150 on the sides. Any tricks on getting those off ?

You just now are hearing about this? Plastidip is a rubber, peelable coating that applies like spray paint.

I have Jeep wheels that were prepped and Dipped properly that I've had for over 5 years and the Dip still looks great. If done properly, it will last.

the longer you leave it on, the more a PITA it will be to remove. Especially on actual paint and not wheels or badges.

What is it? Rubber coating that was originally made for you to dip tool handles into if your rubber handles ripped/disappeared off pliers or whatever.

Yep, it will last longer than a couple years, but then is near impossible to remove because it becomes less flexible. Ask me how I know.....

It's worse in the South with the sun. a year with black on the roof of a silver car and removal was a ridiculous PITA. I swore the stuff off after that.

Did it on my 2014 and it lasted from 2015 until I traded it in last December (and I take it through the car wash 2-3 times a week...I work next door to one). Just did it on my new truck, Easy to do.
